Why do user acceptance tests take so much time?

Spirit allows end-users to drill-down into the figures to the source data. Users can repeat the calculations themselves and check whether the reported figures are ok or not. This increases the quality of the reports, the confidence in the figures and decreases the time for acceptance of the reports.
